To compensate, additional Advanced research stations are seeded and just like classic, the AI cannot recapture planets. You will also not have to deal with instigators, as those weren't in classic. Capture Variance is turned off. And of course, you start off on Murdoch. You start with Classic starting fleet and defenses, while getting the rejuvinator mobile factory. Designed for those who want a good ol' vanilla playthrough from classic before the dlc hit.
