Summary0010485: Straight shot not very straight
DescriptionThis bug occured with the first tier version of the "Entropy" style class (can't remember the name ATM, it is the one with two straight shot and a touch spell).

After being hit several times (Melee) and bounced around the room, the straight shots did not fly straight any more but at odd angles. This seems to be caused by shooting while being hit.

The condition resets upon exiting and re-entering a chunk, but it survives saving and re-loading, therefore I attached a world file where the straight shot is not straight anymore.

Hmmm, odd, odd indeed. Confirmed.

Shots like that get the velocity of the character firing them added into them. Is that what you're seeing?

No, in one case, I was standing perfectly still and the shot was curving down.

Okay, this is the same thing as in 0010489.

"Yes, the Mirror Cube repels shots, and the Perimeter Guards suck shots into themselves. All is working properly here, however we do need to make it more clear what is going on with a text interjection when you encounter these enemies."

In this case it's just Perimeter Guards.

Thanks!

* When the player's spells are being driven off course by either a windstorm, a repulsor field, or a gravitational field, the player's character now remarks on this in a little floating/rising text popup as soon as it starts happening, and then every 12 seconds after that if it keeps happening. Each popup lasts for 3 seconds to allow for the player to actually see them.
