| Description | The Firestorm spell is a little overpowered when used to protect stratospheric citadels, since you can't dismantle the citadel until the firestorm dissipates. I had to waste four turns at the endgame waiting for it to dissipate, which made the final quest a little difficult. My proposed fix is to make it impossible for Demonica to cast firestorm on citadels; if he casts a spell, and a citadel is in the target area, Firestorm should be removed from the list of choices. Alternatively, you could reduce the duration to 1-2 turns. Or you could combine the two: Make the reduced-duration Firestorm a possibility on higher strategic difficulty levels. If it remains in the game, you should definitely also make sure he doesn't cast it twice in a row on the same area. | ||||

For 1.003: * The overlord's "free casting" of world-map area-spells on the purified stratospheric citadels now cannot pick firestorm because that prevents your NPCs from actually knocking it down for a really long time, etc. ** It's still possible for the overlord's normal spell casting to happen to hit the citadel tiles with firestorm, but he won't intentionally try to do this and the circumstances that would lead to it are fairly rare, so that's fair game.
