| Description | I'm guessing this is universally reproducable, as it fails in any game I start. I can set rally posts of either variety to FRD and ships sent to that world will not adopt an FRD stance as was intended. | ||||

They're not set to FRD when sent to a planet with a redirection rally post that has a FRD-rally point to the same planet, no. They do, however, FRD if the rally post FRD-rallies to another planet. I agree that they should FRD even if their rally-point is on the same planet though. |

Actually I couldn't even get the other plant FRD'ing to work (assuming it wasn't one of my planets). I do have the auto-FRD control on. |

Hmm. I always run with auto-FRD off as of late, and my rally post always FRD when I tell them to. Could try toggling the auto-FRD, but it sounds odd if that causes them to not FRD. |

Even with auto-FRD off, rally posts do not FRD ships in the same system. You can use a redirector to send them FRD to another system, but there's no way at present to use a rally post to FRD units in the same system with said rally post. |

Right; when you set a FRD-rally point in the same system, they don't go into FRD mode. That only works when sending them to another planet. I'd very much like them to FRD whenever the rally post is set to FRD though, even if it doesn't have a rally point. |
