Summary0002501: Menus with scroll bars misbehave.
DescriptionOn the campaign creation window, when the selection menus of AI type, color, handicap, etc. have scroll bars, scrolling does nothing to them. Additionally, they're artificially forced to fit between the place you click to bring up the menu and the bottom of the window/screen. Offset them to the side a little and let them stretch up!

Ingame, the box that lists how many of each ship type/mark you have, the scroll wheel can be used, but it also zooms, which shouldn't happen, the zooming should only happen when the mouse is over the main game.

"On the campaign creation window, when the selection menus of AI type, color, handicap, etc. have scroll bars, scrolling does nothing to them."

I just tested, and they seem to scroll fine. The difference, I imagine, is that I was using the left mouse button to click and drag the scroll button up and down, whereas you were using (I'm guessing) the middle-mouse wheel. We certainly want the middle-mouse-scroll to work on that but it's not on the pre-5.0 timeline.

"Additionally, they're artificially forced to fit between the place you click to bring up the menu and the bottom of the window/screen. Offset them to the side a little and let them stretch up!"

That was how I did it initially but was asked to move it to where it is now. Feel free to file this as a separate suggestion :)

One issue per report, please :) And that one's actually already been reported, so no need to duplicate.

Yes, the middle mouse wheel only works in scrolling areas when that area has focus. It's very fiddly as a part of Unity 3D, and not something we're likely to be able to fix, given the wonky nature of focusing stuff in general there.
