Summary0002534: Resistance fighters aren't attacking
DescriptionSome resistance fighters spawned to help me clear out some of my systems, yay!

But now they have outstayed their welcome and won't go anywhere! They just keep warping through my systems rapidly. It seems that when there is no AI on my friendly planets they just wander aimlessly from friendly planet to planet. Shouldn't they go attack an AI planet or something?

This is sort of the intended behavior. The won't wander far, they only look at the adjacent planets when determining where to wander, etc. They will eventually find their way to some AI planets, or else they'll help you defend your territory further.

This was seen as more desirable than having them running way off and getting killed immediately. :P

Well, I don't know how undesirable the behavior is. Previously they would attack AI planets but this generally wouldn't accomplish a whole lot (other than freeing up the memory held by the resistance fighter ships) and would often result in a fair bit of threat that wasn't directly provoked by the player (which isn't the end of the world since the minor faction is optional, but still not great). If they just patrol your territory maybe they'll be some help to you later on :)

I don't mind the patrolling my territory that much, but i'm being driven crazy by the constant warping sounds whilst they do it! Any way to have them warp silently :D or sit there and wait? Or at least wait 5 minutes before warping to the next planet. Not every five seconds Plleeeeease :P *prepares mute button for sanity*

For 4.072:

* Resistance Fighter Bombers and Resistance Frigates now have the "HasWarpEngineMufflers" flag, which prevents the warp-in and warp-out sounds from playing when they go through a wormhole (kinda nice when they're patrolling your planets at a rapid pace).
