| Description | Summary says it... Map seed is simply greyed over, while new map seed gives me a new one... I had a seed I was saving for once 5.001 was out. (This is on 5.001, but I ran into it on 5.000 too but didn't really think anything of it at the time) Last I recall we could set map seed... Good for challanges to be shared n the like... What happened??? | ||||

You should still be able to. But it might be... fiddly at the moment. |

Its grayed out, does nothing if I click it. No popup what so ever. Tsukasa who I was playing with a bit on 5.000 experienced the same thing. |

Click it, press "backspace". Click it again, press "backspace". What the screenshot shows is default behaviour for me but it does allow me to select it, it is just confusing at times. (Try alt-tab'ing a few times, or start a game and quit. This often 'fixes' it for me and I get the orangy 'text selected' stuff and cursor back :) |

Sheeesh. Thanks for the hint Red Spot. Worked... Weird though. Little | still doesn't show up... Changing this to a more-minor UI issue. Still something that probably should be eventually addressed. I can only imagine the confusion to new players. |

It has been reported a few times already, but often with different desciptions/ways people notice it. Savegames have been checked, but as it could not be reproduced at the time it could afaik not be traced and so not be fixed. In the end, once you realise it does work, it is just a really minor inconvenience :) |
