| Description | is the adv research labs map dependent? because ALL my games this is like 10+ the first adv i always get vampires. btw vampires SUCK. half the ships are immune to them now and their power doesnt do anything because they die too fast. this doesnt matter what ship i start with and i have switched maps a few times. | ||||

Yes, they are map dependent. If you play the same map and same starting ship, you'll always get the same unlocks.Blake sure you're not playing on simple ship types, too -- that would be very much giving you a smaller pool of ships if you are playing on different maps. |

i am playing on adv ship type and choosing different ship types but still always getting same unlock vampire first every time. this is between 3 different maps 4 different ship starts. i dont have light of the spire but everything else is enabled. i started with just the base ai war and still have only ever gotten vampire as first ship unlock. |
