If I did this, I'd have to up the MP cost of it. I think that's a fine idea for a spell, but the spell isn't rid the lightning, I don't think. That sounds like an upgraded form of some sort. |

Ok, that's just as good. :) |

I've been thinking about this while playing as well. Make an upgraded version for an extra mana cost and allow us to pogo off enemy heads Mario-style, except with an extra lightning flare. :D |

If ride the lightning could do this, you might damage/destroy your own wooden platforms. It still sounds cool of course but there is that implication to consider if damage is added to this spell or an improved version of it.

I would support this but as said above as a new spell with increased MP cost. |

@wyvern83 I suspect the platforms could be made immune to the effects, if added.

They could but it could also be part of the flavor of the spell with higher tiers doing less damage to platforms for example.
If you jumped right you might also damage/destroy balls of light or moon lanterns, again whether it should affect them or not is a chance for spell balance and perhaps the creation of more tiers besides issues mana cost and any plausible time limit/touch the ground before using again restrictions. |
