DescriptionI have to admit I'm not entirely sure how pylons are supposed to work, but I don't think this is it --- I think I may have the invisible pylons issue, but the pylons I see to my northeast also appear to be entirely surrounded by barriers, which will make it impossible to deactivate them.

Oh, this was completely wrong! I finally noticed a pylon on a vertical stretch of road; it was really hard to see, but that's already been reported. Once I cleared it I was able to reach the others.

I loaded your game up, and you actually have at least five more. Go into your Strategic Map from the green stone, and you'll find at least 4-5 pylons covered by the diagonal lines that I believe are supposed to represent "the fog of war." Example: if you count UP 14 blocks from your main settlement, you'll see one of them. You have to have your townspeople scout those areas out (click the greyed out area on the map), and once you do, the pylons will be clear as day. Once they're visible, you can have your townspeople remove the pylons, even the ones you can't get to because you can't move diagonally.

Oh, thanks for that! I know there are some more I can reach in the directions I haven't explored so much, but I think they're all on tiles that are 10+ levels too high for me and don't help me reconnecting with the towns I've lost access to since pylons.

The invisible pylon thing is fixed for 0.522.

Pylons surrounded by vortexes is entirely possible, but I'm pretty sure it's set up so that at least one pylon in a "connected graph" of pylons will be accessible. Previously it was possible that the accessible one was on a non-visible part of the map, but since Chris changed worldgen around it's not possible (iirc) to have a region in the game that you can't see at all. Also, all vortex pylons are revealed by default (kind of like potential wind shelters).
