Summary0008828: Don't allow incinerating the Command Flare
DescriptionThe Command Flare is free in every mission where you might need it, so it seems silly that you can incinerate it for 100 consciousness shards.

I would allow incinerating it, but have it give only 1 if not 0 shards; otherwise, trying to get rid of it will clutter the landscape.

Yeah, destroy it for 0. It's already on fire, right?

For 1.201:

* Command Flare spellgems can no longer be incinerated (they were free at certain missions, making it kind of silly that they could be burned for shards).

Thanks :)

Hmm. I don't see why they shouldn't be burnable for 0 shards; with this fix, flares are the one spell that permanently clutters someplace (unless you throw it away within a mission).

I'm reopening this, because this clutter-issue hasn't been addressed. (Of course, if it can't/won't be changed, the admins can close/resolve this thread again.)

Thanks!

* Command Flare spellgems now only give 1 shard when incinerated (they were free at certain missions, making it kind of silly that they could be burned for shards).

By the way, note that you didn't actually reopen the issue, I just happened to luckily spot the comment.

Oh. I changed the "resolution" to Reopened; is there a way for non-admins to change the "status" to Reopened?

I think only the original reporter can do it iirc. There is a reopen button that marks it as status feedback, which sends us an email and makes it show on our lists again. Just changing resolution type leaves it invisible.

At worst if you are not the original reporter, open a new issue and optionally link it to the old one. :)
