Summary0009043: Some small/tiny enemies (bats, nettles, etc.) should have outlines or otherwise be much more defined
DescriptionSome enemies should get small outlines, preferably outlines that always contrast against the background or just white, so we can see them a bit better. They don't have to glow in the dark, just a bit more defined so we can distinguish them better from the background.

Anyone else having trouble seeing these guys? At 2560x1600 I see bats as black blobs most of the time, especially in caves which often have lots of black in their backgrounds. I'm often just reacting to their attack sounds without ever knowing they snuck up on it.

i'm at 1650x1080, and i can usually see them. i do have a problem with the nettles, but that's because they don't always extend past the grass on the ground.

maybe make this a new spell?

I always have at least one source of detection mitigation just for the lines that show where enemies are. Even 1% will tell you where they all are.

That said, I agree with OP in that high-resolution monsters need to have a bit more contrast when the room is brightly lit.

I also have issues with lightning espers on sunny days, but that's not nearly as bad as bats.
