Summary0009214: Odd Forced Movement Glitch
DescriptionWeird movement issue - when any player in the game moved from Andromeda to Calamity, all of the moved ships immediately turned around and moved back to Setzer (planets were connected in a line, Setzer-Andromeda-Calamity). This happened with every player and any number of ships moving, and it didn't matter if we clicked to move form the Tab screen or Ctrl-clicked on the wormhole. If we moved past Calamity and then just told them to stay in Calamity, it was fine and they wouldn't auto-move anywhere else. We did not notice this issue moving through any other wormhole.

(Note I wasn't the host of this game, if it matters. I could likely obtain a copy of the save from the host if necessary.)

Check for a redirection rally post on Calamity. That's usually the cause of things like this :)

Yep, Minotaar called it: there's a player-built redirector rally post on Calamity, sending everything away :) When I scrapped that, it stopped happening.

Never used rally posts; thought something like that might be the problem, but couldn't find one when I looked - guess I just missed it. Thanks though.

Related thought - should these rally posts work for all players like that, or should they only work for the player that built them? I'd always assumed they would only work for the building player; pros and cons both ways, I suppose.

Actually there's a toggle in CTRLS called "Do not rally to allied rally posts" I think, so you can set it up how you want :)
