| Description | It looks like there are zero missions in 'Ocean' regions (note that there are missions in 'Ocean Shallows' regions, which this report is not referring to), whether it be map-generated missions, or mission rooms found in a region/ship/cave. Bug-wise, this makes it impossible to rescue survivors in these regions (as already mentioned in 0008992). Player-experience wise, this makes these regions have a feel of only being there for their gems and stashes, making them have less potential value than other regions. Due to their difficulty (at least for me), players are already discouraged from spending much time in Ocean regions. If some missions spawned on the world map in ocean regions, this would draw players to these regions, and encourage them to master underwater AVWW gameplay (or else risk seeing a mission spawn in an Ocean region with great rewards, but finding it practically impossible to complete). In short, "Come for the worldmap missions; stay for the chance to find mission rooms." Note: Unless existing maps can simply be filled with water and reused for Ocean missions, this may require a new set of Ocean mission-maps to be created. | ||||
