Summary0009432: Worm Hole Defense Ship
DescriptionI remember a time when the AI had turrets. Back then when i sent my fleet though a worm hole it usually took a lot of losses. Worm holes today are too easy.

The Worm Hole Defense Ship is a way to beef up the (for lack of more description and creativity after just woken up) defenses of a worm hole. It is an immobile ship that is like a mini fortress, and much easier to take down but not too easy. This ship will also emit tachion beams so there is not a need to seed a tachion guardian at every worm hole (I would prefer these be buffed and seeded at random guard posts like other guardians).

THe WHDS counts as a spot for reinforcement in addition to or instead of the worm hole guard posts. Also, every time an AI planet gets a reinforcement it also replaces lost WHDS. This should bring back some challenge after clearing a worm hole the first time.

As a final note, since the worm holes will become so dangerous the scouts will need a buff to be able to compensate.

Turrets were replaced by guardians. So what you'd want is more guardians camping the wormholes.

Not precisely, guardians and other ships can be freed and they come to attack your worlds, I want a defense that stays on AI turf and cant be lured/kited around.

Plus I would like renewable tachions, after you kill the tachion guardian scouting is next to simple.
