Summary0009572: Annihilator heavy antimatter weapon
DescriptionThe Annihilator is a slow shooter, not terribly long ranged either. However its antimatter weapon is extremely scalable and it has a high volume link to the human power grid to power that weapon. As a result it deals damage equal (or proportional) to the energy surplus of its owner. The unit is not available to the AI for obvious reasons. Anti-matter ammo makes it unsuitable for breaching heavy force fields but it will do a number on heavy fortifications due to its raw damage output.

A high-powered Annihilator would be rather terrifying but maintaining a large energy surplus just for one unit type comes with drawbacks.

My response to this is exactly the same as the other one - This does not fix the problem, it makes people complain about the problem less.

It wasn't supposed to fix anything, just act as another possible bonus unit. In fact it's based on the assumption that maintaining a large energy surplus is difficult.
