Summary0010886: Champion Design Interface Improvements
DescriptionIt is a little annoying to use this interface.

1) The larger the starship, the more the boxes. One-by-one clicking is pretty annoying. Perhaps a method to change multiple module slots at one time could be implemented.

2) Switching the modules to the latest mark is not considered a save-able change. To make it permanent, I must change something else, save (which will take me to the "New Design" page, resulting in more annoyance), go back, update the modules (thank heaven there's a button for that), and then save. Needless to say, this is intensely annoying.

For 1) I think it'd be awesome if you could just shift-click to keep placing modules.

For 2), I'm curious as to why the game won't just automatically adjust the module in a design up or down to the highest unlocked level. Is there a reason that someone might NOT use the best available level of that module?

@Toranth 2) The only reason I can see someone not wanting to use the highest unlocked mark of a turret is severe brain damage. Seriously, the cost to upgrade a slot is negligible and there are no downsides.

It would be nice to be able to key the Champion a number, and let have the champion stay keyed to that number when it respawned...

Or maybe a hotkey sequence, e.g. Ctrl-Alt-T

Note that loop-build does work on champions.

That said, it would be nice if you could have a standard builder interface to choose your mode and modules, and upgrade them without going into the CTRLS menu.

Tabs:
* Abilities
* Switch form
* Light Modules
* Heavy Modules
* Tech: Light Modules

Well, I just discovered [ESC] -> Settings -> Advanced -> "Show Module Build Menu for Champion Ships"

Now we just need a "Tech" tab, "switch form" buttons, and a "remove module" system.
