Summary0013004: Units "forget" their movement-orders after planet-view-change through a wormhole !
DescriptionHello,
I'm a new player (from Germany, so please excuse my poor English) and I recently noticed a major gameplay-issue (at least for myself):

When you select a (/some) mobile unit(/s) in planet-view and give it(/them) a movement-order via >Right mouse-click<, then change to an adjacent planet through a wormhole with the "send view through clicked wormhole" -option via >Ctrl + Left click< and then change back to the latest viewed planet with >Ctrl + Left click< through the same wormhole again, the former selected moving unit(/s) stopped and "forgot" all its (/their) given movement-orders (= no path-lines are shown anymore and all possibly set waypoints vanished).
After recognizing this I've done a few tests to confirm the reproducibility of this issue and found out that this affects only the last one of the selected units (if you've selected more than a single unit(/unit-groups) one by one and not altogether with the "form groups of units"-option) and all former selected units keep their movement-orders and path-lines / waypoints are unchanged.
But to make things worse this only is the case, when you don't select any moving units again (after the wormhole-view-change). The bug sadly equally occurs, if you select any of the moving units via Left mouse-click (without changing anything else) and then change to another planet through a wormhole and return the same way like described above. -> Every last selected unit will "forget" its movement-orders and will have stopped when you return.

Since this doesn't occur if you change to the other planets via the galaxy-map and return the same way, I thought this certainly is not "gameplay-feature", but a real bug (but I don't know if it's a known issue, already, but I also don't think that it's very complicated to solve it, anyway).

Last but not least I don't think that I have to tell you that I love this "send view through clicked wormhole" -option and that it is very annoying for me to be forced to make a circuit through the galaxy-map-option ... and I love to play this marvelous game more and more - so please, please try to fix this very soon ;-).

Keep on with the great work !

Frank

Issue solved !!!
I was able to "fix" this "bug" by myself ! - And I was all wrong! - Please excuse my foolishness and don't spend any more time on this issue !!

After printing my own hot-key list (with the key-bindings from the >inputbindings.dat<) I realized that I had linked the "Go through wormhole"-order with the "END"-key, but this key was already (per default) additionally linked with the "Stop all actions"-order (o_o) ... and therefore the game was funktioning quite well all the time, because my units did only, what I told them (unintentionally)- stupid me !!.
So, lease excuse my foolishness and don't spend any more time on this issue !!
(I promise I will check all non-bug-possibilities more thoroughly, next time ^^)

- sorry -

Frank
