Summary0013649: Gifting techs + prerequisites gives wrong influence
DescriptionWhen gifting a tech with prerequisites, the influence gain is multiplied by (1 + number of prerequisites). Unfortunately, this happens each time the tech is selected from the drop down list, so you can keep doubling or tripling the amount of influence you gain from the same gift just by selecting the same tech over and over.

Can be tested with the attached save (try it with the Boarines).
