DescriptionYou get +10 for gifting a tech, or +30 with a race for getting some OTHER race to give it to them.

Even accounting for the whole "snooty hydral handing out gifts" issue, and the desire to push the player into fostering cooperation rather than doing everything themselves, I think this is rather too big a difference.

I would suggest increasing the influence you get for gifting techs, perhaps to +20? You could also take down the influence gained from tech brokering a little... maybe +15 for gifts and +20 for brokering a trade, given that right now trade brokering is by far the easiest way of getting influence with a race - so much so that I might give the tech to another race and then convince them to give it to the race I -actually- want to get influence with.

I'll have a more in depth play around with influence and tech trades and suchlike in the near future, and edit this with any findings if it changes my mind.

Really, both should be 10. I hadn't noticed the discrepancy because they were added months between one another.
