| Description | when i bring a new race space-faring (and also later in the game) i think it would be good to be able to perform the 'gift technology' action just once.. selecting a 'give all known tech' option from the drop down menu, rather than having to do the same series of clicking through menus 4+ times to bring a race up to speed with each tech i know individually... obviously this would take the necessary time for all tech to be transfered and gain appropriate influence | ||||

I'd point out that you can basically ignore the information wondow and keep gifting techs btw, then just click "OK" when you're all done to get it out of your way. Which allows you to basically gift all the technology very quickly (one click per tech - or less if prereqs get included in a few of the clicks). Still this option would make that even easier, so I'd call this more a polish issue, but it IS good polish. |

Back when this was suggested, it was like 5 clicks through several menus, so he definitely had a very good point then. Now it's way easier, though, so I think extra options would just confuse matters, to be honest. Too much clutter on the screen can be very overwhelming. |
