| Description | I've completed a couple of the game's achievements and they are viewable within the in-game achievements list, but neither one has registered on Steam. This has been over the course of several play sessions and a couple of days, so I don't believe it's a Steam issue. I can see others have obtained Steam achievements, so I presume this is potentially a Linux specific issue. Thanks! | ||||

I realized something else when playing this evening regarding this issue: when loading the game, the "Steamworks enabled" message does not appear on the main menu screen. However, when playing I have the full Steam overlay available. If it makes any difference, I purchased my copy of the game through the Humble Store, and then registered it on Steam. |

i have the same issue, steam achievements not registering but in game achievements are working fine.... running linux build also! |

also i think the achievements (in game as well) are bugged for win after enemy alliance has formed.. i just won a game after a fear empire had formed (my thoraxian horde wiped the floor with the acutian's pathetic exscuse for an empire!), and my last win was defeating the united federation of planets - didn't get the achievements for either (1.05) |

just had another user confirm this on the steam forums. while i appreciate its not the most pressing issue right now ;D it would be nice to get it sorted out eventually. |

FYI, it is on my list -- I'm not sure what is up with it, and it's slow to update. I'm planning on doing some general things with steamworks to help with a number of things, though. Part of the reason I am not more on top of this one is that all your old achievements will auto-sync after the fix is in, so you aren't losing anything permanent by this. |

Thanks! * Steam achievements are FINALLY working on Linux! Thanks everyone for their patience on this one. We are now using Steamworks.NET, which does a much better job at letting us do a lot of things that are cross-platform with the steam library. |
