| Description | Twice now (once with an early patch), I've seen one of the two early missions disappear early (like with 10min remaining) from the list of available missions. Both times, it has been the "secret plan for achieving space fairing" mission. The other mission (environmental improvement) is still there. Checking race relations, there is no penalty for having lost/ignored the contract. I cannot reliably reproduce, although I believe both times it has occurred after combat. | ||||

Thanks! * Now when a quest is canceled early due to whatever reasons (it no longer being valid for some reason, anyhow), it now logs an event explaining that. The message: ** Hey! Those guys canceled their quest before the time ran out! Did they die or something? Lose the location the quest was related to? Find themselves no longer in need of the sort of help the quest was requesting? Whatever the case, they considered the quest to no longer be something valid as a desire, and so they retracted their offer. At least none of the consequences of ignoring it apply... |
