Summary0015027: Suggestion for spy sats
Description1) Make the sats move in "orbits" (with different orbital paths - some circular, some more oval, different orbital directions clockwise/counterclockwise and orbital speeds) so it becomes about wtching the patterns and finding a gap, then timing your own flight path; instead of it just being a matter of having a path or not (ie, no strategy involved, it's just whether the RNG loves you today or not, there's already too much determined by the RNG imo).

2) Make them become seeking weapons once they detect, like a minefield. Upon contacting the player's ship they do some damage, then they latch on and reduce speed/increase mass. Once they become seeking, they should also be destructable (and should start slow, but accellerate quickly, thus giving only a few turns to shoot them down). Relations are damaged a set amount PER sat activated and not shot down, rather than the all or nothing situation as it is now. Relations are damaged win or lose (either from fleeing or from destruction). Races that would have greater negative penalties in the current setup, would instead have more sats present to relfect this. Thus you can get away with partial reductions, or mess up and get huge reductions. Also, power presets matter - do I put it in speed and make a run for it - possibly activating alot of sats and risking my life, do I make it full weapon and try to shoot them down before they can reach me, do I go full shields and maybe end up triggering more sats, but have much better chance of success? Do I try a blend of these approaches?

Anyways, thaere's my thoughts. :)
