Summary	0015076: Research techs not balanced with each other
Description	Basic Subatomic Theory 100 months to research 1.7x all research speed 1.3x NPC attack power 1.3/1.2x player health/shields (Advanced Subatomic Theory is the same except takes 40 months longer) Faster Satellite Communications 120 months to research 1.2x all research speed 1.3x science outpost bonus Photon Mechanics 130 months to research 1.1x all research speed 1.2x science outpost bonus These time-to-benefit ratios seem completely backwards... Then there's Psionics: 240 months to research 1.8x all research speed 1.5x ground combat boost Requires Mind Reading This strikes me as pretty steep in terms of research time, even with the ground combat bonus.

GC13 May 9, 2014 11:18 am reporter ~0037781	Well, the first progression is law of diminishing returns. As for Psionics, well, it's at the end of the trail, so I guess it's meant as a hefty boost.
