| Description | Currently spire attack waves get quite similar after some time. Less/more power they still look very alike. Two ideas to spice them up a bit: - make each wave have random focus - main assault force would be either fleet ships/starships/core starships/golems (maybe a bit to uber) and other types would be added as escorts. - core starships currently are always the same - adding more variety to them would make different waves much less alike. Ideally you would have set of random hulls and random attack modifiers that would be chosen for each task force/battle group. In practice I guess it would need to simply have few/many variants of itself with different stats. They can share the image for simplicity (and the oh s*** effect ;) ) | ||||

Yea, I had meant to communicate that I'm not done with these, just need to assign the "tier" ratings to the other bonus ship types, etc. I'd like to get some spirecraft in there, maybe even some "Dark Spire" versions of the capital ships, maybe some bigger versions of the existing guardians, etc. But your idea of having each armada or battle-group pick a "theme" also sounds like it could help a lot :) |

Just don't blame me when you get a 100,000 point armada composed primarily of artillery golems, siege starships, and bombers ;) |

Ofc I will :D If they are themed that composition shouldn't happen - only one of that elements can be main element of the theme. |
