Summary0015406: Solar Map: Evucks impossible to kill if the last non-federation race (insane ground combat strength!)?
DescriptionI started a game and decided to go for the "Skylaxians are the only living race" achievement. All went well, only the Evucks are left by now.

Unfortunately they turn out to impossible to kill due to a ground combat strength that is so big it even makes the display wrap around -2147483646. I totally agree that is may and should be hard to take down the Evucks last the way I did, but it should not be downright impossible in my opinion...

A hard cap on ground combat strength might be a good idea here...

The UI wrap is also kind off irritating ; ).

I can confirm that this happens to me too: Evuck ground troop power at -2,147,483,648m. I've attached two screenshots: Evuck Ground Troop Power1.jpg and Evuck Ground Troop Power2.jpg.

I confirm too.

The burlust own all the solar system and a lots of outpost.
The Evucks own only 1 planet and are impossible to kill (negative ground power)
I've attached a screen and a save.

[Edit] : I've manage to break this insane amount of ground strengh with 2 things.
1 - Smugle in resistance fighter to bring constant ground fight. I've done this more that 25 times in a row thanks to a pirate empire.
2 - Use of "Deploy orbital Bomber" every time the cooldown is up, and "Nuke". It will kill 6-12m Evuck each time.

New problem : When there is around 10m population left, whatever I do the population regrow is greater than my killing power.
The Evuck are still unkillable.

* The ground combat multiplier of the evuck crystal cities has dropped from 10 to 1.3. The prior value was INSANE.

* The bombing resistance multipliers of evuck crystal cities have been dropped to 1.4x instead of 10x, and for the Thoraxian Deep Tunnels it is now 2.5x instead of 25x.

* The ground combat multipliers of most of the technologies have been reduced, to give more of an advantage back to races with more implicit fighting skill.

* There is now a max cap of 999 on the ground combat multiplier at any location.
** However, in cases with extremely large populations (say a Burlust planet with 2+ trillion citizens), you can still get ground military strengths into the quadrillions in some cases. Previously the game would wrap around to negative numbers inappropriately, but now it has support for showing quadrillions appropraitely.
*** Bear in mind that this isn't meant to be a commonplace scenario, and any race with quadrillions of ground power either needs a planetcracker sent their way or they are basically the winners.
