Summary0015881: [Betrayal mode] Attacking armadas get stuck
DescriptionAttached a save where my armadas have been stuck bombing the Thoraxians since the start of the game. I can't move them anywhere and I can't seem to kill the Thoraxians. I've tried poisoning them, destroying their environment and researching military techs for added bombing but they are still breeding like mad. Currently I can't defend against Acutians on my homeworld because I have no defensive armadas in orbit, no ability to build new armadas and no way of moving my three mega armadas back to the HW.

Edit - just to continue the story. I've had to use offence as the best defence, attacking anyone that threatens my undefended worlds with a counter invasion. Which is a fun consequence of the bug.

Further update:
I Won. The Thoraxians were tough as nails to kill, one of the two unique buildings provided a protection from everything multipllier of 40x, the other just +5x. I think something was bugged with population too. They had a birth rate of 0, massive negative RCI but lots of children and a population that was growing for most of the game. (Added a late game save with lots of Thoraxian children but 0 births).

Had that too, but with thoraxians as starting race and on the Peltian planet, so it probably doesn't have to do with specific races.

Does your armada also say DEFEND [attacked planet] instead of ATTACK [planet] on the current mission column?

Yes, I think it could do with showing the race of the planets listed when they get to this bug. Also, perhaps some x10 buttons for increasing armada strength since clicking 400+ times causes a bit of repetitive strain injury.

For 1.601:

* Fixed a bug where giving an order on the Armada Management screen (betrayal-mode-only) would not cause that armada to disengage from any scheduled combat, thus being "stuck". Giving an order will now cause them to stop any scheduled attacks on other nodes.

Thanks :)
