| Description | This has happened multiple times, and has been going on for a while now. Playing on Mac, I keep getting weird graphic oddities like ships showing up as white squares briefly when shot, icons not showing up during combat (but if I hover over the spot, it says the appropriate hover text and can be clicked normally). If I uninstall, delete the game folder and reinstall, it works fine for a while but gradually as I quit and restart the game over time it starts to experience glitches again. I've messed with all the in-game graphics settings, and nothing seems to make a difference. I'm on a MBP 2014, OSX Yosemite Also when quitting the game, I have to force close the app as it doesn't quit gracefully. Not sure if this is relevant, but could graphics be getting corrupted as a result? | ||||

Hmm, that's really strange for sure. How much RAM do you have free? It sounds like there may be some sort of graphics overload issue, but I don't know why that would be. Are you playing in fullscreen or windowed mode? You might try switching modes and see if that changes anything. If you hit F3, a debug menu comes up. If you can take a screenshot of that (F12 key puts it in the RuntimeData/Screenshots folder) when things are glitching out, that would be potentially helpful. Also if there are any error logs in the RuntimeData folder, those also might shed some light. Thanks! |

I recently reinstalled to resolve the various graphics issues, which in my experience has been temporary however, but if it happens again I'll try and collect as much pertinent info and update. Thank you for the response. |
