Summary0017505: New player experience: Tell the player he doesn't need housing at the beginning
DescriptionMy issue is as follows, I'm a first time player (played as Skylaxians) and the first time I played it, what did I build? Of course, housing. Many many high density housing. Actually this was the first building I built, because, well it's housing. You need housing (in games generally), right?

With that the requirements for my city (shopping, crime, entertainment etc.) ramped up enormously, until I started to read that this is actually high density housing and has a lot of requirements. At first I was confused, how can that be? That's a building I can build from the beginning, but I can't use it efficiently because I just don't have the other requirements, or rather, they take up a lot of space and money (small shops, small diners etc). This makes it to a vicious circle.

I think in my first game I built around 8 dense housings until I actually noted that I don't need that much at all, since the bunker provides housing from the start. Only once I started to raze them I noticed my population not shrinking and still having place for more peopleā€¦

It's not gamebreaking, and once you know this this isn't a big deal and makes sense, but as a new player, this is extremely confusing and breaks your early gameplay, since, once you build at least 2 dense housings you will need to buy a lot of other stuff which hampers the process of expanding your territory.

To note: I'm quite an experienced player usually but it took me 4 attempts on starting a new game until I got the population thing figured out somewhat.

Perhaps point to the player with the starting tutorial that he needs population growth first and that buildings will get better with xp.
