DescriptionI like the new energy system. The few weapons I tried don't fire fast enough to deplete all your energy, though. Which kind of makes the whole energy system superfluous. There are plenty of weapons I haven't used, and some of them might drain faster than it refills.

Maybe there needs to be a couple seconds after you stop firing the secondary weapons before the energy starts to refill. Longer than the slowest weapon's cooldown.

The Torpedo is the weapon I'm thinking about. I can just hold down both buttons and never run out of energy. It was too powerful, really. Some balance would be introduced if I had to stop using it after 4 shots (since it uses 25e/shot) to wait for the energy to start refilling.

I'm going over most of the weapons today, the new system was put into place before the weapon balance pass was implemented.
