Summary0001906: Culled spire bonus ships shouldn't be used in waves.
DescriptionIf these ships are being actively culled per planet-ship cap limitations, they shouldn't be used in waves, ie. fun blade spawners.

I believe I've seen waves of these blade spawners being announced as a wave of 80, and them being able to send only four.

The ship cap multiplier (of like 0.03 for the spawners) is used when computing the actual count. But perhaps that isn't working right.

To clarify, it was announcing 80, but you only saw 4? Or did they send the full amount?

Also, do you have a save from around the time that you got the wave (doesn't have to be before or after or whatever, I'll just run it til I get another wave to inspect it), and/or did you have advanced logging on to get the wave-computation log files so we can look at the math? My point there is that 80 would seem valid if you'd riled up the AI a bit but it'd be similar to a wave of 4,000 fighters, and checking the math can help me figure out whether that's what happened.

After many hours waiting for another blade spawn wave (literally), it finally arrived!

I also verified that this is what happens: 8X blade spawners are announced, but only four ever spawn with the wave.

Happily, this was fixed last week when I made some changes to how the overall per-planet ship cap stuff works. I just tested today to be sure.
