Summary0019412: Always trying to capture Dyson Planet
DescriptionI brought my fleet to the Dyson planet. I didn't want to capture it, so I just right clicked my ships at the planetary controller (without ever enabling Planet Capture explicitly). Unfortunately, my ships then captured the planet. I scrapped the controller, but my ships recaptured the planetary controller anyway. I still have the Do Not Capture text on the screen too.

This save game is also interesting because it shows a 70K strength Warden fleet hunting down my 30K strength fleet. I kinda think the Warden Fleet is still OP.

Note this is a Core build that is up to date as of 8PM Feb 7

So in general, if you destroy a planetary controller by right clicking on it, that will cause you to start trying to capture the planet, regardless of whether you've set Do Not Capture Planet

This is actually working as intended. The new UI from Eric will make it more clear, but basically the don't capture thing is more of a guideline than anything else, a note to self, and it also keeps you from auto-capturing unless you right-click it.

So how do I destroy a planetary controller without then claiming it? I don't think there's a mechanism for this and there needs to be so the Dyson doesn't have issues.

Okay, now I follow. I've just created a new 0019529 to deal with that. It's also related to 0019461, frankly.
