Summary0019683: AI ships target something all the way off the map in the bottom left corner
DescriptionI am unable to reproduce this consistently, but sometimes when the Marauders spawn, the AI will start targeting a ship all the way in the bottom left. I can't even take the camera there because it's so far away. They do eventually kill whatever it is. I attempted to take screenshots of the missiles and bombs flying towards the target.

well, it happened again when some of the Warden fleet entered through a wormhole. Unfortunately, I have been trying to reproduce it to no avail. This save is right after the Marauders spawn.

Okay. I've pinpointed what it actually is. It has to be a Marauder ship or ships all the way in the bottom right. Proof is in the screenshot: A tractor turret was holding it in place from the top of the Grav-Well. Plus only the AI ships were firing at it as well as guardposts. This happened after I looked planets near my homeworld and then looked back at Typhoon (the name of the Planet) and the AI was firing into the bottom left corner.

I tested this some more and this is what I found. The Model for the Marauder ships (or whatever enemy ships target) somehow teleports all the way to the bottom left. However, the shots from the Marauder ships spawn where the ships would be if they were in the correct place.

Proof the ships are still there. I watched s they just disappeared off the c=face of the galaxy in real time, no using the galaxy map or switching between planets.

Ah, okay -- I think I know what this is, then. It's a me-problem in that case, and not a Badger-problem, probably. Thanks for all that sleuthing!
