DescriptionAnd no more controls for scrolling around, or at the very least limit that stuff a whole lot. Maybe have an option, we'll see. I could see it being needed on certain very small monitors or with truly huge maps.

This is a fairly major usability issue, but it's not a crisis in the sense that it doesn't block other things from happening, it doesn't actually cause players not to be able to play, and it isn't something that will require a major rework of anything semi-related in order to make it work the new way.

Uhh. Just going to say that it actually takes more time to hover over a section of map to get wormhole connection counts for each individual system than quickly zooming in on a section to see how many a particular set of systems is inter-connected. Not much of an issue on the rectangle and small circle maps but definitely more of a pain on certain configurations big circle kicks out. Looks like only three connections with how super zoomed out it is on the lobby map until you hover over it and it says something like five instead.

Also of note... not being able to scroll/zoom also can make certain map segments a real pain to "see" well because it becomes a soupy mess. Check out the right side of this image as a pointed example.

From that picture, I think a reasonable solution might be to just change the colour of the wormhole links to make them stand out more?

I think it's inevitable that there will be certain map types and resolutions that require us being able to zoom and pan again. I'll make some adjustments. I was already kind of thinking that the other day, but wanted to see if anyone squawked.

For next release:

* The lobby now once again allows for you to zoom in and pan around, since some maps can be larger than you can comfortably see on a single screen.
** However, every time you generate a new map, it will default to showing you the entire map completely zoomed out.
** It also no longer EVER allows edge-panning in the lobby, as just general usage of the lobby will wind up with you accidentally panning the lobby around if that is in place.
