DescriptionI have melee ships attacking a sabot guard post, and most of the models are concealed underneath the guard post. Can we make the collision radius a bit wider for the guard post?

Started testing it. It's not a problem with the Guard Post - it's how the units determine what's in range. Seems to be something is only in range if the center of the units collision radius is.

The melee units range is understandably so short, that for bigger units like Guard Posts, they have to actually clip into it to get their weapon in range. Making the radius bigger wouldn't help.

Can see it in the attached image. I also tried making one of the AI strikecraft here have a larger radius', and the exact same thing occurs - Gangsaws stop when the center is in range. With normal sized units, they can actually attack without touching it.

Hmm. What if we just magically give the melee units a bit more range?

Then you'd kinda see them "meleeing" from quite a distance apart, which already occurs with smaller units like an Ablative Gatling.

It'd have to be a lot of extra range, and I think we'd get more complaints about it.
