Summary | 0022856: Spire Galactic Capital thinks everything is capped | ||||
Description | I have been playing around with allied minor factions and the fallen spire DLC, and found that around when I built my third city hub (fourth spire base including the galactic capital) the galactic capital started thinking everything is capped. I scrapped a shipyard and was planning on getting the rest of the frigate neural networks and the destroyer one (with 3 sockets available and 2 of the frigate networks already built) and that is when I encountered the bug. It won't let me place any of the buildings, whenever I try a message pops up saying "Cap hit for (building name)." I tested one of the city hubs, and it was able to build stuff just fine, it appears to only be the galactic capital that is bugged, reloading the game does not fix it. | ||||

The testing save is one I made immediately after the bug to test if other cities were affected, the other one is from right before I triggered the bug. Some information I have to add, after going back to before placing the fourth city, once I placed it it worked that time around. Something to note is I had a lot of heat after it, having retrieved it from a train in the middle of trying to get the third one (the one to the far left of the map) to safety, so I was forced to place it early before it could be destroyed, it was on the brink of death so it is possible that the game may have thought it died around the same time it placed the city, which might be a factor in the bug. The fourth city that caused the problem is the one placed on an AI planet before the testing save, I think it is neutral in the testing save after I destroyed the command station. |

Not really sure if the bug was caused by scrapping the shipyard at the galactic capital or by placing the fourth city, the fourth city never spawned it's cruiser in the testing save, but did when I reloaded and went back through it, so it is possible that might be another bug. |

Update from my testing; this only occurred for me when the Mobile Flagship was crippled. Once it was repaired to working condition; its related hub (in this case, the spire capital) let me build things again. |

Did you notice the other bug where the fourth city never spawned it's cruiser? I initially thought it was because it wasn't active yet due to the planet not being under my control, but when I went back to a previous save to fix the bug with the capital, that time the cruiser spawned as soon as I placed the city hub. That might be another bug that is also present in that save. |

The primary complaint here is fixed. It sounds like there might be other issues in there, so if those remain unfixed then please open a new ticket! |
