| Description | I upgraded from 2.617 to 2.627a yesterday. GOG's Linux installer now suggests "GOG Games/AI War 2 English" as the default installation path, but the Spire Rises installer continues to suggest "GOG Games/AI War 2". This may cause confusion. | ||||

The fix will be coming soon. Here's the word from GOG: "Thank you for letting us know about this issue. I've talked to our Linux tech about this issue as well and they tell me that it is a result of Mojo Setup (https://icculus.org/mojosetup/) being a little bit too protective. The user should correct the path to their desired path and continue with the install. That being said, our Linux tech will be updating our Linux build script so that the English versions of games won't add "English" to the file name and it should resolve this issue once and for all. The current ETA for the update of our Linux build process is currently by the end of next week or so. " |
