Summary0000329: Game seems to run fast on 4X/Epic
DescriptionGame seconds seem to run fast, even in the slowest mode. About 15 in-game seconds take 13 wall clock seconds to complete, meaning the in game seconds are shorter than they should be. I noticed this first seeing that my sci vessels were ticking knowledge at a faster rate than I'm used to.

If I'm not using +/- to adjust the speed, it was my understanding that in any game speed option (blitz/4X/normal), an in game second should be a wall clock second.

Maybe this has to do with the new timings (i remember reading something about the game running slower, but commands input faster, or something like that..)

I'll see what I can see -- thanks for the note! 4X doesn't affect the literal speed of the game clock, though, so this exists regardless of combat style. It does seem a tad fast on mine, too, so most likely I changed a variable in one place and forgot to change it in another, heh.

* In the last couple of versions, the game speed was running a bit over-fast due to some partially-implemented timing changes. Fixed.
