Summary0000397: [3.706] Damage Multiplyers not working.
DescriptionIn my games, all ships (friendly and hostile) are doing their base damage, they are not getting their damage bonuses as they should.

This is easiest to see with bombers vs. forcefields. Mk I bombers are doing 400 damage a shot against forcefields. That's their 200 base damage, doubled because I'm playing on normal combat type. They are not getting the damage bonus they should be.

The tooltip that pops up when you hover over a target is showing "100% chance for 400 damage" and this matches how slow the forcefield dies.

I have seen this in multiple games now, it hasn't actually been a game breaker until now when I've run into a Mk IV ion. Without the damage bonus on the bombers, 8 million health just won't die.

Anyways, posting this up so you guys can take a look.

Okay -- awesome catch. It looks like when the fix was put in to make siege cannons able to have a bonus against force field bearers, it... basically broke all the other attack bonuses for everything.

No worries. There were two new internal calls, both of which had fatal flaws. One was an empty method that did literally nothing. One used the wrong Fint.create, and thus was giving minuscule scale to whole numbers, resulting in bombers doing 0.007 damage instead of 30, etc. All good. ;)
