Descriptionwhen faced with multiple enemies the switch direct target keybind, would work better if it cycled from mobs nearest to farthest. as it is now it seems to target furthest to nearest sometimes, or any which way. also, if a level has multiple layers the tab targetting doesnt distinguish the layer you and the enemy are on, resulting in multiple button presses to acquire the target in order to avoid casting through a floor or such.

It's actually from oldest to newest, at the moment. The reason that we do that is that when mobs are moving around, my thought is that you'd wind up keeping on selecting the same mob if it was done based on distance only. Thoughts?

I'm a little unhappy with current tab targeting; I find it often fails me in a pinch. Maybe it should first offer you the closest enemy, then ignore it and go to the next, but reset after five-ten seconds? I feel like when you want to select something fast, it's almost always the one that's about to beat on you.

i think just allowing tab target to cycle from nearest to farthest would be the more efficient way of dealing with immediate threats. because the tab cycles with each click it just runs through the targets until you get the one you want. maybe even starting in the way your character is facing.
