| Description | A suggestion that I was thinking about, is changing how hotkeys works slightly. Right now, hotkeys 1 and 2 are the same as the left and right mouse buttons, which seems a little repetitive to me. What I was thinking is that the two furthest icons on the bottom left become the dedicated mouse button hotkeys, then starting from the third to the left go from 1-on. Or add two new icons that represent mouse button assignment. This way it will make it easier to use more spells at once due to finger placement for people using the WSAD keys for movement. | ||||

The current defaults are what we judge to be the simplest for new folks to learn, but there's an immense amount of flexibility there in the controls already that would let you do what you want and more. The simplest way to accomplish that would be to use the "Switch Highlighted Ability Slot To Next," which is unbound by default. But that sounds like it would do what you're looking for if you bind that and then shift the highlighted slot to, say, 3 instead of 1. Alternatively, if you want to get really creative, you can rebind the mouse abilities, the keyboard abilities, and more to be whatever you want. We have some players who have come up with some bindings centering around WASD to really maximize their personal loadout effectiveness. The defaults are meant to be simple, but the power is there to do basically whatever you want already. Cheers! :) |
