Summary0005453: Consider unifying 'spells' and 'inventory' concepts, or making them more distinct
DescriptionRight now there are spell-spells (attack/defence), 'inventory' like spells (wood platform, potion), and inventory (vitality stone)

Suggest either unifying everything into spells (you are close to it already), or separating it out like WoW into spells, inventory and action bar which is where you trigger them from.

(Looking at my notes-- not 100% all that I was thinking but I think there are references to spells and inventory separately, but really they all act like the same thing)

It's already unified, actually. There's "things you can use" and "things you can craft with," and those are the only two categories.

In terms of spellgems, there's only one way to get them aside from the intro mission (which is just for tutorial purposes): equipping them.

There are then limited-use spell scrolls that you can find in the wild, but never craft, and also limited-use and unlimited-use items that you can find in the wild but never craft. All of these go into the same interface and all work the same way, limited-use ones notwithstanding.
