Summary0006027: Enchant slots disappearing
DescriptionJust started a brand new world and when I get an enchant and press z if I click on an enchant the boxes showing where it can be placed disappear. I can place the enchant but it's confusing. This is in the tutorial area as I'm playing a new world from scratch. I will test if this is an issue in my old world. The same thing happens in an old world but if an enchant is equipped in the same slot that slot is visible.

Yes, this is by design. Each type of enchant can only be put into a single slot -- therefore it only shows the slot that is actually relevant for it. I think it was far more confusing the old way, where you could try to place it in the wrong slot but nothing would happen.

Now I think about it, I recall noticing that it was hiding ALL slots, not just the wrong ones, when I was playing earlier...

I noticed this in the patch notes but the problem is if you have no enchants equipped it doesn't show any slots at all. This is very noticable on the turtorial intro mission. The enchants can be equipped by just clicking in the correct blank space.

Okay, I'll look into that -- thanks.

Thanks!

* Fixed a bug in the prior version where all the enchant slots would disappear while you were dragging an enchant around under some circumstances (such as having no enchants equipped, or having no enchant equipped in the valid slot for the enchant type you are dragging).
** Now it just hides all the enchant slots that are not relevant for the enchant type you are dragging -- what it was supposed to be doing in the prior version, but wasn't quite.
