| Description | As the name implies a Shield that is only active in a 90 degree arc, determined by where you are targeting, so if I am aiming behind me it defends behind me, or aiming upwards it defends above me, but you know more free form than that implies. This would have greater effectiveness than the current shield spells, balanced by only being able to defend a certain direction and being useless versus melee attacks. This is the spell to use for getting down those projectile filled corridors, as long as you are sure you won't get shot in the back. This is sort of the middle ground between the current 360 degree shield spells and the counter spell suggestion as far as usability goes. | ||||
