Summary0006545: Clicking on menus fires spell
DescriptionWhen you click on most menus like the crafting menu, it casts the spell you have bound to that key. This can be very annoying as I usually put my expencive powerful spell on left-click.

Unable to reproduce. We fixed this sort of thing a long time ago.

So I'm thinking that either:
1. You have some unusual extra key bindings that are not being used by most people and thus not being caught.
2. You're doing something obscure in the menus that most people are not, and thus are finding some edge case.

But you're talking about "most menus," so I can't imagine that 2 is the real culprit. Did you bind the keyboard key functions to the mouse functions for some reason? If you bound the keyboard spell abilities to your mouse, then this actually would be valid behavior. Of course, binding your keyboard keys to your mouse would be pointless, since your mouse buttons already have that behavior implicitly, but perhaps this was from an older version of the game when you were trying to get the bindings to do something else?

That's all I can think of.

Huh, that is it. It looks like it was from before that behavior was implicit so I had mouse 0-2 all assigned for abilities 1-3.

Does this sound like the same thing as 6466? Is it really just because I have non-default bindings?

We need to just remove those mouse bindings, period. The game has a better way of accomplishing the same thing that is less reminding work as well as not buggy like this. This option was added for flexibility, but its just adding confusion instead.
