DescriptionSo some time ago there was a suggestion about having bosses built into a room, but it was dismissed as too hard to fit with procedural generation. But how about something like this?

I was imagining an amoeba/slime so large that it fills a whole room ---- in other words, all the walls and floors are covered with a film that deals melee damage if you touch it. Moving around in the middle would be the nucleus, which is what you need to kill. The film would want to be divided into small, killable sections, so you can clear yourself a place to stand. But when you want to run around and dodge, you'd have to clear more space. It might make for an interesting fight, and it would work well with the procedural generator.

That sounds like a neat evolution of the giant amoeba bosses, I like the sound of it :).

Kinda sounds like the giant slime wall boss from Yoshi's Island... I like it. :)
