Summary0006882: Not all "windows" should have glass indoors
DescriptionThe little windows in buildings having broken glass look really great. The very large "window" areas, however, I never took to be windows. There are bridges and actual empty space.

I think if a window is over a certain size, it shouldn't have glass in it.

The first one looks like a bridge between two buildings. I always liked this room, but the glass broke this assumption of mine.

The second one looks like it should just be the "top" of the building. Again, the glass felt "off" to me.

Also, the repeated pattern is noticeable here ;)

Now that I am fulling looking for these, I think we need windows in the background wall. Every room is actually a fully windowless room. If there were windows randomly spread out along the interior walls, they would feel more like windows.

Bonus points: have the windows act as light sources during the day!

There is a boss room template as well, but I can't find it now. The one with the large broken background? That one was fun because you couldn't use wooden platforms there. Does that get glass as well?

* Really large tracts of sky in buildings (anything with more than 70 tiles in it) are now considered to just be a side-slice of the outside, rather than a window. This makes it so that large windows wind up still looking like just the roof, or a section between buildings, etc.
** However, these areas are still blocked off as if there was glass there, so you still can't teleport out there and nothing will spawn out there. This is just a cosmetic change.
