| Summary | 0007006: Mantis "Report Issue" page expires too quickly | ||||
| Description | Several times, when I have submitted a report on Mantis, it gives me an error indicating it is invalid, which I believe is due to the page expiring because I didn't submit it quickly enough. (In other words, I spent too long typing in the report.) This then forces me to go back, copy the contents, click on the Report Issue link again, re-fill out the form, and resubmit it again. This is pretty frustrating and risks getting everything I just wrote getting lost by the browser in all the back and forth. I'm generally pretty careful when I'm submitting a bug report and frequently will go back into the game to check or verify something while I'm typing it, so they take a while and it'd be nice it if the report was rejected so quickly/easily. Edit: This happened again on my latest report. The error is: "Invalid form security token. Did you submit the form twice by accident?" I did not submit the form twice. I just submitted it after a lengthy writeup. | ||||

This happens to me sometimes too. I think it's mostly random, and I'm not sure there is much we can do about it. |

From everything I see, this can't be fixed. Use the Lazarus extension for Chrome to keep your data in case stuff like this happens. |
