| Description | I'm suggesting that the "good swimmer" addition to the acid gills enchant actually allows you to swim, meaning that you move into the direction you are pressing while underwater, even if it is upwards. Optionally it could just give you infinite jumps while underwater. At the moment I get by with triple jumps, ride the lightning and teleport, but at the beginning of a new continent this would be very helpful. edit: Sorry for the duplicate, just found the other reports along this vein. | ||||

Possibly; but the idea here is that if you can just swim in any direction, that's not terribly interesting, is it? It's basically just flying again, except slower. Whenever possible, I like to try to make sure things are differentiated. Here you are in acid water, wearing bulky clothes and weighted down with gear no less... it seems plausible to me that you wouldn't be able to swim. The main way to move upward in underwater situations is to place a crate and ride that up. That creates a really different dynamic from the flying segments (which are cool, don't get me wrong, but again I don't want to trend towards homogeneous designs). |

You are right. The crates are an interesting, unique and appropriate feature (which I continuosly forget). Consider my request for swimming lessons withdrawn ^^ |
